How To Wash Handmade Baby Blankets
1. Shake out the blanket to remove any dust and then test a small corner for color-fastness or shrinkage before soaking.
2. If the test reveals shrinkage or color-fastness then it is better to dry-clean the blanket. Else soak it in cold water and mild detergent.
3. After few minutes agitate the blanket with hands for several minutes.
4. Drain the soapy water and rinse once or twice in clean cold water.
5. Gently wring out excess water and dry the blanket flat on clean towels.

1. Never leave blankets folded over the sides of a baby’s crib.
2. The blanket’s edges and sides need to be neatly locked, since the baby tends to suck on blankets
